A big THANK YOU to everyone who came. It was a beautiful day and many, many breastfeeding families came to sit on the Capitol Square lawn and nurse their babies and toddlers together. It was so inspiring!
Channel 27 (ABC) news came and did a very positive news segment. Dr. Jill Mallory, who organized this event, stated, “If we are going to increase breastfeeding rates…we need to get everyone in our culture to be comfortable and in support of breastfeeding.” This news segment helped by moving us one step toward that goal.
